You will need to state on the application form the geographic area in which your business mainly trades. Preference will be given to those businesses that can whakapapa or have established links to the Taitokerau rohe and are trading within the Northland Regional Council boundary. You are eligible to enter all, or any, of the categories in these awards which you believe are relevant to your business. For the purpose of definition, ‘Māori owned or controlled’ is determined by the ownership model and the Directors/Trustees who dominate the Board. Closing Date Your completed application form and supporting documentation must be submitted no later than 5pm on Friday 10 February 2023. Registration To be eligible for nomination to the award: A nomination body will have the mandate of their entity/organisation to nominate for this award. The nomination body is to evidence the consent of the nominee. This evidence to be attached to Section 2, signed by both the organisation and the nominee. The nominee must whakapapa and reside in Taitokerau. The nominating body is to provide evidence of roles/activities the nominee has undertaken.
