April Erueti (Chair, Director)
Taranaki-Ngāti Ruanui, Ngā Ruahine /Whanganui Te Atihau-nui-a- PapārangiApril is a Māori Business Development Professional in private practice. An extensive 35+ year career in the public, private and commercial sectors holding senior leadership and management positions as a former Director 1980s/1990s with the Department of Social Welfare a CEO NFP Hospital and elder care facilities coupled with strong commercial sales, mergers, acquisitions, research and finance with offshore brand companies from late 1990s while working for NCS Pearson International Pty Ltd.
April’s professional work experience provides widespread networks holding post graduate qualification in Social Work from Victoria University Wellington and an Executive Masters Business Administration degree (Harvard Program) from Auckland University. April is an experienced Trustee and Chair at Te Hiringa Charitable Trust, Director Te Hiringa Business Promotions Limited, Professionals NZ Asia Pacific Limited & A.M Erueti Limited. April’s area of specialist interest since 2006 has been lifting the capacity and capability of Māori SME’s and Māori/Iwi owners of Collective assets to supply to government and private sector contracts. April led the Te Puni Kokiri Te Tai Tokerau and Tamaki Makaurau Business Teams reporting to Wellington from Whangarei where she resides before returning to private practice.
Walter Wells (Trustee, Director)
Ngāti Kuri, Te Rarawa, Ngāpuhi, Ngāti waiWalter is a company director for Taura Kaha Limited specialising in professional advice and services to the government, community, and private sectors. Walter has extensive background in Māori Development having worked for Te Tira Ahu Iwi (former Māori Affairs), Māori Trustee, Ministry of Education and Te Puni Kōkiri with 10 years’ in senior leadership and management positions. He is an experienced Trustee and Director with interests in Iwi Governance and Asset Companies, a Regional Sports Organisation and Ministerial appointee. His professional work experience provides widespread networks.
Solomon Dalton (Trustee, Director)
NgāpuhiSolomon is a Chartered Accountant, Senior Client Manager for BDO Northland Ltd. He works from the Kerikeri office specialising in business advisory with a key focus on the Māori and the agricultural space. He is involved in numerous boards from School sporting bodies to company director.
Ngaire Wilson (General Manager)
Ngāti Paoa, Ngāti WhanaungaNgaire is an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the management consulting industry. Skilled in non-profit organizations, negotiations, project and event management, concept, and business planning.
Trustees/Directors are supported by an operations team led out by Ngaire Wilson – General Manager and a group of business associates, who are specialists working with the Māori sector to provide quality operational advice, and development services. Our associates were brought together to provide a remedy in the form of a block solution of skill sets, collectively they bring a broad range of specialist expertise and networks. The team are highly proficient, well qualified, experienced, and professional.
